Tribe Extends Menu & Opening Hours this Winter
For the first time since they opened, Tribe Organic has updated their menu to include 5 all-day breakfast items (from wraps to shakshuka and banana buckwheat pancakes), vegan sushi rolls made with brown and red rice, and 3 different fillings of little trio T-BAO’s made from buckwheat and whole wheat flour (photo above).
While these new category items now take up the left-side real estate of their menu, Chef Brandon Trowbridge (of NOLA restaurant and former menu consultant of Burger Bar in Parkview Green) has also created in some fabulous new additions to their salads, their moreish sides and noodles.
In line with the weather and seasonal produce, they now have quite a few warming and comforting dishes including some salad options that you wouldn’t necessarily consider on a cold winter’s day. I have a soft spot for their Roast Cauliflower Salad (RMB 65) but for those who like a kick of spice, try their new Sichuan Chicken Chop Salad (RMB 58) that was inspired by Tribe’s Executive Director Yvonne Yu who hails from Sichuan.

Warm Up this Winter with Obentos’ Healthy & Nutritious Grain Bowls
The beginning of November saw the launch of Obentos’ new winter menu items – including a handful of beautiful new creations spread throughout their growing menu with 4 comforting Grain Bowls and a handful of new sides and desserts!
From the start, Obentos has built its strong reputation with a solid foundation of fantastic tasting, well-balanced and well-portioned Bento Boxes and giant, gorgeous salads (perfect for summer months). For the past few years, my go-to dishes have bounced between a handful of their salads and bento boxes depending on my appetite and mood.
But with the big drop in temperature, they were smart in pushing their newest menu category – their “Grain Bowls”. Each one quite unique in flavors and texture, you have everything from their popular Teriyaki Grain Bowl to their warming Curry Bowl (now with Brown Rice!) and soupy Salmon Ochazuke Grain Bowl.

Agua’s Infinity Weekend Brunch Launches Updated Winter Menu
With the sudden drop in temperature, Agua’s taken the initiative to warm up our weekends with their updated Infinity Weekend Brunch menu which now includes a beautiful range of warming dishes including their Beef Bourguignon, Marinated Pork Belly and Icelandic Halibut with pumpkin puree.
A weekend brunch that was first launched back in April (pretty much right after they launched their Spring menu), this updated menu now highlights a lot of their new seasonal fall and winter dishes.

Dare I say? Could Mosto’s Wagyu Beef Burger be Beijing’s Best Burger?!
After munching my way through Mosto’s new winter menus for both dinner and weekend brunch, I have found a winner: Mosto has outdone itself once again and completely blown me away with their wickedly delicious Wagyu Beef Burger. Priced at RMB 135, it may be a bit steep for some, but this is no ordinary burger and it’s the best gourmet burger I’ve encountered in Beijing. A juicy, thick wagyu beef patty with roasted onions, avocado, tomato and Jalapeño for that extra zing, this creation was the main point of discussion between a table of 8 ladies for a solid 5 minutes (it’s really that good).
But it doesn’t stop there. The Wagyu Burger may have stolen the spotlight at my brunch bunch, but I was equally as impressed with the rest of Mosto’s new Winter brunch menu.
