The world’s best-known primatologist and a UN Messenger of Peace, Dr. Jane Goodall has devoted her life to preserving the amazing species and natural habitats of our planet.

This is an incredible woman and through her life achievements and hard work, she has developed worldwide organizations to spread her messages through educational programs including The Jane Goodall’s Roots & Shoots Environmental Education Program, which has initiated projects like school-wide recycling programs, organic gardens, volunteering at animal shelters and collaborating on the worldwide “No Shark Fin” campaign.

“Since 1994, Roots & Shoots has changed the environmental attitudes and behaviors of hundreds of thousands of students nationwide through projects in over 600 international, local and migrant schools across China.”

I have not been to Pinotage before, but this is Beijing’s first South African restaurant, offering plenty of meats, curries, South African specialty dishes and I hear their desserts are to-die-for.

So you can imagine my excitement to hear that BJ FOoDiEs next feast to ring in the fall season will be hosted at Pinotage.
