Get ready because this year is bigger than ever and really full-on. While marking your calendar with dates, keep in mind that JUE is happening alongside with The Bookworm’s Annual Literary Festival (BLF), meaning we’re going to get more than our fair share of creative stimulation this month of March.
Officially kicking off this Friday, March 8 (already after a couple of PRE-JUE shows like the San Francisco punk band Thee Oh Sees performance a couple weeks back), this year’s festival will be taking place every day across a span of 17 days (March 8-24) with 300+ artists participating in 125 events in both Beijing and Shanghai.
“An annual open source arts and music festival, JUE | Music + Art is all about celebrating the best of the local creative communities in both Beijing and Shanghai and inviting artists around the world to showcase their talent in China. We always strive to maintain a strong sense of community, an intimate vibe, and a top-tier selection of artists and events.” – Split Works team
