Beijingers take their oysters seriously and Hatsune does not mess around when they say “Oysterfest”. When they said go big or go home, they meant it. Over 80 people turned up last night for their fill of oysters and oysters they did fill.
Hatsune’s Oysterfest is pretty much the only time you can actually get your fill of incredibly fresh, succulent oysters. Flown in from Fanny Bay Pacific, (Canada), Pacific Gigas (New Zealand), Blue Pearl (New Zealand), Gillardeau (West Coast France), Stella Bay (Canada), West Coast Virgins (Washington, USA) and Port Douglas (South Australia), this is as good as it gets.
People came hungry for oysters and luckily for us, Hatsune came prepared. Ready to supply the desperate demand, Hatsune held down their fort by putting its strongest defense on the front line with the one and only World Record Holding Oyster Shucker, Patrick McMurray (who just happens to be able to shuck 38 oysters per minute)!
