Beijing is Spoiling Love Birds for Choice with Romantic Dinners for Two

Beijing is not the most romantic of places even at the best of times but on Valentine’s Day, there are hundreds of restaurants all around town ready and willing to do all the swooning for you.

If you haven’t been to the Georg yet, this Valentine’s Day is the perfect time to get the full experience (I’m talking 7 courses that showcases duck confit, foie gras, lobster, and red velvet).

A magical place set in a stunning space that makes your jaw drop when you walk in, I don’t think there’s a more romantic place in Beijing. And of course it doesn’t hurt that everyone is raving about this place as Beijing’s best fine dining establishment.

5. Karaiya Spice House:

If your love life could use a little spice, there’s plenty where that came from at Karaiya Spice House. Specializing in Hunan cuisine, this spicy dinner is only RMB 520 to be shared per couple and will get your blood pumping while your taste buds are rejoicing over signature dishes like Karaiya’s Double Pepper Steamed Perch and Spicy Pepper Diced Rib-eye. Super reasonably priced and it even includes a bottle of Prosecco!

Teaming up with roseonly (China’s contemporary high-end florist), Sureño’s Valentine’s Day set dinner including a bottle of Duval Leroy Brut Champagne and all love birds will receive a stylish lapel brooch.

Though I’m sure we can all appreciate the brooch, the real reason why you should seriously consider Sureño as a destination for you to celebrate Valentine’s Day is because I’m confident Themis, Chef Roberto and his team are putting together an incredible dinner experience. You can look forward to a menu with Neapolitan octopus and ricotta gnudi with walnut and sage butter, followed by a choice of frutti di mare or porcini oil-poached Australian black Angus tenderloin with roasted mushroom ragout, chestnut potato hash brown and coffee jus. The “Rosa” dessert showcases rose chiboust, raspberry pate de fruit, and lychee raspberry sorbet.
