Celebrating the one year anniversary of one of Beijing’s most celebrated weekend brunches, Agua has re-updated their Infinity Weekend Brunch menu to include some delightfully refreshing new summer-inspired dishes.
Plated with bright and colorful floral accents, the new dishes are as pleasing to the eye as they are to your taste buds. Some new highlights include a lovely new chilled watermelon gazpacho, tuna ceviche (pictured above), a “Landaise salad” that includes duck foie gras, duck ham rillette, poached chicken egg and mustard vinaigrette, and braised New Zealand lamb leg with ratatouille.
Though their 1 year anniversary brunch was marked on Saturday, May 9th, they’ll be celebrating with “free swag” to all Infinity Brunchers the entire month of May. Even after a year, the value of this brunch deal remains just how we like it- RMB 298 per person for infinite dishes (you can order and eat til you can’t) with the option of adding on RMB 168 for infinite cocktails (Cava, Spanish Mimosa, Bloody Mary, Sangria, Red or White Wine), all between 12PM-3PM.
In the Mood to Celebrate at Agua this month of May!
For anyone who’s looking for a place to celebrate or just enjoy an indulgent weekend treat, Agua’s Infinity Brunch is exactly as it promises – an infinite amount of tapas-sized Spanish dishes made fresh-to-order for you to savor and satiate till you drop.
Just one caveat to note: Even though it’s all-you-can-eat, the real only allow you to order dishes per person and in limited quantities. I support this notion to ensure freshness, smooth service and decrease waste, but if you’re coming with a big appetite, I recommend that you also come with a big group of fellow foodies so that you can all order together and share plates to sample as many of the menu’s 20+ dishes as possible.

With so many items on the list, it’s impressive for anyone to eat their way through every single dish on the menu (even if you’re sharing!), so it says quite a lot if someone asks for seconds of anything.
So yeah, we got seconds of a few of our favorite dishes – the understated Grilled Sobrassada & Emmental Mallorquin Sandwiches sound so simple but it’s mind-blowing how addictive these little ones were. A table favorite, we couldn’t bring ourselves to share and had to have at least one glorious crustless triangle all to ourselves (meaning we needed 2 orders and, yes, had no shame in taking another 2 more from our neighbors who couldn’t finish their multiple orders).
A staple that’s been a favorite on Agua’s brunch menu this past year, we have had to make a mandatory rule to much order at least one Sunny Side Up Eggs with Hash Browns & Homemade Chorizo per person. Yes, it’s that good.
But these wonderful dishes aside, the absolute champion dish we ate in this feast of amazing Spanish tapas was their gorgeous new Lamb Leg with Ratatouille (new addition to their summer menu). Lamb isn’t necessarily the first thing you might crave if you want something light and refreshing, so don’t wait until you’re almost full and ready for desserts. Order this one first so that you can fully appreciate the magic this dish brings to your palate. It was so tender and flavorful, we couldn’t resist ordering a second lamb leg even after making the mistake of waiting until the end of our meal to order this surprise finale.
Again, when it comes to having the right strategy to make the most of your infinity brunch experience, the last thing you want to do is save the best for last so I’d recommend ordering all the Land and Sea dishes first, then the Egg dishes, and depending on how much stomach space you have to spare, I’d be selective in just ordering a few of the starter and savory starches so that you can finish strong by tasting your way through all of their desserts. I was particularly pleased by their creme brulee (yes, we ordered seconds!) and the new cheesecake and flan were tied for a close second.
