Punchline Comedy Show with Comedian Jeff Green
“That innocent twinkle gives way to a wicked gleam… His insights into relationships are hilarious and true.” - The Independent Weekly – Adelaide on English Comedian Jeff Green
Back at it again, Punchline Comedy Club is putting together another roaring show with three brilliant comedians – Award-winning British Comedian Jeff Green and two great Scots, Geoff Boyz and Alan Francis.
English stand-up star Jeff Green has been called a “National Treasure” (Daily Mirror) and “The funniest stand-up in Britian” (The Sun). Since quitting the world of Chemical Engineering, Jeff has since become a well known face and voice on Australian TV and radio, a well known UK radio voice with three BBC Radio 2 Comedy Series and is a best selling author with his books selling over 300,000 copies.
“Franker and Cheekier than a barrel full of monkeys” - Glasgow Herald
Scottish comedian and impressionist, Geoff Boyz “has established himself as one of the most versatile comedians on the circuit” (ID Magazine). His impersonations of Robert De Niro, Al Pacino and Joe Pesci are hilarious. Watch this Youtube Clip here:

Scottish comedian and writer Alan Francis co-authored and co-starred in the successful play Jeffrey Dahmer is Unwell at the 1995 Edinburgh Festival premier. In 1991, he won the Edinburgh Festival Fringe newcomer contest “So You Think You’re Funny” and is a comedy writer for the BBC comedy sketch show The Big Impression.

After performing first in Hong Kong on January 24 & 25 in Tamarind in Wanchai, they will make their way over to Beijing for two performance dates on Tuesday and Wednesday January 29 & 30th before heading over to Shanghai on February 1 & 2.
With two performance dates in Beijing, they can be seen both nights at Blue Frog’s new Indigo branch starting at 8PM. Dinner seating starts at 6:30PM and seats are first come, first serve. I’d recommend getting there for an early bite to grab a seat closer to the stage.

If I had the limelight, I’d take the opportunity to pay homage to one of the funniest men in the world – The Duke of Edinburgh. From speaking to an Aboriginal leader asking ‘Do you still throw spears at each other?’ to telling the Nigerian President, dressed in traditional robes, ‘You look like you’re ready for bed’. His list of gaffs is longer than the CNY train ticket queues!
My joke:
Q: Why did the jelly bean go to school??
A: He wanted to be a smartie
Ok, here we go (cracks knuckles):
“Two aerials meet on a roof – fall in love – get married. The ceremony was rubbish – but the reception was brilliant.”
Than you thank you. I’ll be here all week. Tip your waitress.
I went to the zoo the other day, there was only one dog in it, it was a shitzu.
An America couple was being shown around Moscow one day, when the man felt a drop hit his nose.
“I think it’s raining,” he said to his wife.
“No, that felt more like snow to me,” she replied.
“No, I’m sure it was just rain,” he said.
Well, as these things go, they were about to have a major argument about whether it was raining or snowing.
“Let’s not fight about it!” the man said. “Let’s ask our guide, Rudolph, whether it’s officially raining or snowing.”
As their tour guide approached, the man said, “Tell us, Comrade Rudolph, is it officially raining or snowing?”
“It’s raining, of course,” he replied officiously.
But the woman insisted, “I know that it felt like snow!”
The man quietly replied, “Rudolph, the Red, knows rain, dear!”
