Music Beyond the Moongate: Ah-Q Jazz Ensemble

Presented by Yishu 8 Art & Culture Space, here is a summer concert series “Music Beyond the Moongate”.

Introducing Modern Jazz with the Ah-Q Jazz Ensemble, you can enjoy a performance followed by a Q&A session with the group and “learn the answers and secrets of Jazz.”

About Ah-Q Jazz Ensemble:

The Ah-Q Jazz Ensemble performs an eclectic mix of jazz (straight ahead and modern), funk and Latin music. Mixing different styles and influences is the band’s trademark. The band also writes and performs their own original jazz compositions, and released their first album, a double-CD entitled “Yi Nian”, in March 2007.
