LumDimSum Discovery: Hatsune’s South Beach Roll
Posted: August 12th, 2010 | Author: LumDimSum | Filed under: Foodies & Dining Scene | Tags: Alan Wong, Hatsune | 1 Comment »In Hatsune’s wide selection of sushi rolls, there’s something for everyone.
While the Moto-Roll-Ah, 119 Roll and Butterfly Roll are the most commonly ordered rolls, there are also a selection of vegetarian rolls, spicy rolls, and even a Beijing duck roll.
Personally, I am a big sashimi fan, so I prefer rolls that are not fried, a bit lighter and with a bit of a kick.
If you were to ask me which sushi roll is my ideal roll, I would say hands-down, my all-time favorite roll at Hatsune is their South Beach Roll 南海卷 (pinyin: Nan Hai Zhuan).

The South Beach Roll
Inside: Hotate (Fresh Scallops), Spicy Tuna & Cucumber
Outside: Torched Maguro (tuna), Unagi Sauce, Scallions, Sesame
RMB 88
