Global Times reporter, Michael Gold takes on Hatsune’s Sushi Samurai Challenge, a chance to learn sushi making trade secrets by Alan Wong himself.
In this article here, Michael recaps his experience “getting his hands dirty” in the 2 1/2 hour sushi making class and interviews Alan on what sets Hatsune apart from the rest.
“If you’re not from California, you just don’t have what it takes to make real California-style sushi,” Alan said. “Hatsune is the first one to do this, and we’re still the best.”
