Gossip spreads like wild fire, but I believe there is nothing as moving as genuine thoughtfulness.
I’m clearly a very sentimental person, so I admittedly turn to mush whenever I hear of a good deed or someone going out of their way to do someone else a favor.
I’d like to share a nice Japanese proverb I found on a Christmas card today:
“One Kind Word Can Warm Three Winter Months”
So remember:
While we all suffer through Beijing’s unbearably bitter cold winter, you can still find comfort and warmth through mindful consideration and acts of kindness to others.
